I’m a design researcher, educator, and consultant working on how design shapes and is shaped by systems of care, health, and inequality.

With a background in lighting, object, spatial, and systemic design, my work spans industry, academia, and public and planetary health. I research, teach, and run workshops on how design shapes systems of care, health, and inequality, and how it might be done differently.

I work at the University of Brighton as a Research Fellow and Design Lecturer, where I lead the Sustainable Design MA. I also collaborate with organisations as a consultant, helping them engage critically with sustainability, systems change, and socially responsive design.

My approach is practice‑based, collaborative, and grounded in lived experience. I use creative, participatory methods to explore how design can contribute to more just, caring, and sustainable worlds.
