    Having worked in design for 20 years in the UK and Australia, and 5 years as a Lecturer in sustainable design and design research at postgraduate level in the UK, I am able to tailor, design and host workshops to meet the needs of clients.     As an academic researcher familiar with many elements of design practice, institutional, organisational, charity and business challenges, I am able to work on independently commissioned research projects. ADVISORY AND CONSULTANCY SERVICES

I collaborate with organisations on long or short term projects, or team learning activities. Together with Dr Tom Ainsworth, we offer workshops, an advisory service and research skills. We work at different scales to help organisations define their individual and context specific position on sustainability, and sustainable design. We can then help evaluate and re-design products, services, and systems to be more sustainable on these individually defined terms.

My research experience is primarily in design for human and planetary health. Sustainable design advisory and consultancy services are tailored to the need of each project, team, company or organisation. All services are research-led and designed to implement change and adapt to the changing nature of sustainable development.

Advisory and consultancy work is often carried out in collaboration with Dr Tom Ainsworth, a design researcher and educator who has published work in international journals, including the International Journal for Art and Design Education, BMC Medical Education and the International Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development.
